Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Final year students can also apply (subject to conditions).
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 32 Years
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per Government rules.
Application Fee
- General/OBC: ₹100/-
- SC/ST/Female/PwBD: Exempted
- Payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
1️⃣ Preliminary Examination
- Objective type (MCQ)
- Two papers: General Studies & CSAT
- Qualifying in nature for Mains
2️⃣ Main Examination
- Descriptive written examination
- 9 papers including Essay, GS, and Optional subjects
3️⃣ Personality Test (Interview)
- Conducted by UPSC board members
- Final merit list prepared based on Mains + Interview marks
