Eligibility Criteria



​To apply for the SSC GD Constable 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements:

➡️​Educational Qualification:


Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized board by January 1, 2026.​

🕑Age Limit: 


18 to 23 years (as of Jan 1, 2026).

​Candidates should be born between January 2, 2003, and January 1, 2008.

​Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and others as per government rules.

​Nationality: 

Must be Indian citizens 

​Selection Process


​The recruitment involves a multi-stage evaluation to ensure physical and mental fitness:

​Computer-Based Examination (CBE):

An objective type test covering Reasoning, GK, Mathematics, and English/Hindi.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running/Endurance test.

Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height and chest.

Medical Examination (DME/RME): Final health check-up and document verification.

SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025



The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) is the first stage. It is an objective-type test with the following structure:

​Total Marks: 160 (2 marks per question)

​Duration: 60 Minutes (1 Hour)

​Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

​1. General Intelligence & Reasoning

​Focuses on analytical aptitude and ability to observe patterns.

​Key Topics: Analogies, Similarities/Differences, Spatial Visualization, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Number Series, Non-verbal series, and Figural Classification.

​2. General Knowledge & Awareness

​Tests knowledge of current events and matters of everyday observation.

​Key Topics: India and its neighboring countries, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research.

​3. Elementary Mathematics

​Questions are generally of 10th-grade (Matriculation) level.
​Key Topics: Number Systems, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Averages, Interest (Simple & Compound), Profit & Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time & Distance, and Time & Work.

​4. English / Hindi

​Tests basic comprehension and language skills.

SSC GD 2025: Physical Standard Test (PST)





Candidates must meet specific physical measurements to qualify. Failure to meet these standards leads to immediate disqualification.

2. Chest Measurement (Males Only)


​General/OBC/SC: 80 cm (unexpanded) with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

​Must be proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.



Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The Running Test






Once you pass the measurements, you must prove your endurance through a running race.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Apply Online

​The application process is divided into two parts: One-Time Registration (OTR) and the Main Application Form.

​Part 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

Step 1: Visit the official website at [suspicious link removed].

​Step 2: Click on "Login or Register" and select "Register Now".

​Step 3: Enter your Personal Details (Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth) exactly as they appear on your 10th-grade certificate.

​Step 4: Provide your Contact Details (Mobile Number and Email ID) and verify them using the OTP sent to you.

​Step 5: Note down your unique Registration Number and set a new password.

​Step 6: Complete the "Additional Details" section (Nationality, Address, Category) and submit to finish your OTR.

Part 2: Filling the SSC GD 2025 Application Form

Step 1: Log in to [suspicious link removed] using your Registration Number and Password.

Step 2: On the dashboard, find "Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2025" and click "Apply".

Step 3: Fill in your educational details and select your Force Preferences (e.g., A-BSF, B-CISF, C-CRPF). Choose these carefully as they cannot be changed later.

Step 4: Capture Live Photo: The new SSC system requires a live photograph captured via your webcam or the "mySSC" app. Ensure you are in a well-lit area with a plain background.

​Step 5: Upload Signature: Upload a scanned signature (Size: 10 to 20 KB, Format: JPG/JPEG).

Step 6: Fee Payment: Pay the application fee of Rs. 100 online (BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Card). Note: Women, SC, ST, and ESM candidates are exempt from payment.

Step 7: Final Submission: Preview your application carefully and click Submit. Download and print the confirmation page for your records.
