Eligibility Criteria
1. General Requirements
- Nationality: Must be a Citizen of India and a Permanent Resident of Assam.
- Employment Exchange: Must have a valid registration number from a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
- Language: Must be fluent in Assamese or any other state language.
2. Age Limit (as of 01-01-2026)
- Tailor & Dresser: 18 to 40 years.
- Other Posts: 21 to 40 years.
- Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.

Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in two main phases:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates must meet the medical standards and be physically fit.
- Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) - 50 Marks: This is the most crucial part. The final merit list will be prepared based entirely on the marks scored in this test (Minimum qualifying marks: 33%).
Note: Biometric verification (fingerprints/eye scan) will be done at the start and end of the testing process to prevent impersonation.
